Paul has continued his career as an Independent Financial Adviser, joining the company in May 2014, having previously been in advisory and management roles in the Financial Services Industry in the UK since August of 1994. Immediately prior to this he was an Independent Financial Adviser for three years in Canada. Paul’s financial services career started in April 1982 with the prestigious London Life of Canada. Over the past four decades, he has provided personal as well as corporate financial advice to numerous clients with the majority having been introduced to him by other satisfied clients. Paul considers personal introductions the greatest reward for his conscientious efforts in meeting the needs of valued clients.
Paul has achieved numerous qualifications through the Life Underwriters Association of Canada, The Investment Funds Institute of Canada and The Canadian Institute of Financial Planning. Much of the knowledge he has gained has been transferred to advising clients here in the UK, where he has achieved the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) designation of DipPFS, demonstrating his knowledge in providing financial advice.
Paul has three grown sons who have completed, or are in the process of completing, university degrees and continue to play ice hockey unlike their father who retired from the sport over 10 years ago. Paul continues to play a bit of golf and tennis from time to time, while travelling to warmer climes with his partner continues to be his main interest whenever free time permits.
